Shahinaz Abu Farha is a senior legal and corporate affairs executive with over 15 years of experience advising boards and executive management across telecommunications, private equity, M&A, and real estate investments. As Group Legal Director at Palestine Telecommunications Company/Jawwal (the largest listed company on the Palestine Stock Exchange), she leads the group’s legal strategy and governance agenda, providing counsel on regulatory compliance, complex cross-border transactions, and dispute resolution. She is highly skilled in structuring, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements—particularly in technology and telecom—while managing and mentoring legal teams and external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
Previously, Shahinaz served as Head of Legal and Board Secretary at Amaar Real Estate Group (a PIF company), where she led legal and compliance functions and negotiated multi-million-dollar real estate and luxury hospitality franchise agreements. She also held the role of Legal Manager at the Palestine Investment Fund, supporting investment transactions and governance across a diversified portfolio. Earlier in her career, she practiced as a senior attorney handling major projects and private equity work, and contributed to legal education as a part-time lecturer in commercial law at Birzeit University.
Shahinaz holds an LL.M in Corporate Transactions from Duke University School of Law and an Executive MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, combining deep legal expertise with strong commercial judgment and strategic leadership. She is admitted to the Palestinian Bar Association and is fluent in Arabic and English.
